- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Add the shredded chicken, 3/4 cup of cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder to the mixture. Stir until all ingredients are evenly distributed. If using blue cheese, fold it in at this stage.
- Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe baking dish and spread it evenly. Top with the remaining 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly around the edges.
- Remove from oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving. Serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or carrot sticks for dipping.
Notes
Use freshly shredded cheese instead of pre-shredded for best texture. Can be prepared ahead and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking. For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for half of the cream cheese.
